My name is Jennifer, I live in Biot, a French Riviera village. I love Biot so much that I have drawn my inspiration from it to create my kennel name. My wee « gems » are my four doggies who share my daily life and brighten my days.
I’ve fallen in love with shelties
My love story with Shelties started in 2011. By that time, I was studying at Glasgow University. I was going home after a day at Uni when I spotted a nice wee sheltie who was walking down the Glaswegian streets with its owner. I did some research about the breed which I instantly loved.
I had to wait until I graduated and be back to France 5 years later to finally welcome my first two sheltie boys, Meïko and Moka. One year and a half later, my parents fell for another little sheltie who was looking for a new family. That is how Mylan became part of our family.

Shetland sheepdog breeding – pure British lines
My dogs and I were members of a canine club for one year or so. After that, we changed activity and we started going to dog shows. I developed a taste for it and now it is not rare to see me on show rings in the South of France. Over time, my love for these furballs got stronger. As time went by, I considered the idea of creating my own small kennel. At the end of 2019, I had a great opportunity and I did not miss it : my little Carina came into my life and brought the feminine touch that was missing in my little pack made up of boys only.
My dogs live with me at home
Then I made a request to have my own kennel name early in 2020. It marked the start of a new adventure which is "biotiful" and full of good surprises. I specialised in breeding dogs from pure British lines only (the UK is the birthplace of the breed). Ryuk, Alba and Umi joined my pack. I kept one puppy in each of Carina's litters. My dogs live with me, they are allowed to lie on beds and sofas. The puppies are raised at home and are used to everyday life noises. I attach great importance to raise lovely and easy-going puppies.
